Welcome Back Generals!
I want to welcome everyone back for the 2026-2027 school year! I look forward to partnering with all of our families as we continue working together to ensure every student achieves excellence. We strongly encourage family engagement, so while we host two scheduled parent conference nights this year, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teachers whenever questions or concerns arise. Through our Title I funding, we have planned engaging family and community events throughout the year, and we hope to see you there. You can also stay up to date on your child's academic progress by checking FOCUS regularly.
Over the past year, Jackson made great academic strides in reading, math, and social studies. Our focus for this school year remains on helping every single student achieve meaningful learning gains. To support this goal, we are continuing our morning Generals Achievement Program (GAP) sessions before school, where teachers are available throughout the week to provide extra academic support.
Beyond the classroom, we encourage all Generals to get involved in extracurricular activities. Basketball season is kicking off now, followed by soccer, track, and girls' volleyball later in the year. Students can also join campus organizations like the National Junior Honor Society, Student Government Association, STEM Club, FCCLA, and Spanish Club.
We are proud of our school community and excited for the year ahead. We remain dedicated to providing a positive, energetic, and supportive environment built on high standards of excellence. Let's make the 2026-2027 school year our best one yet!
