Greetings, Generals!
Hard to believe we’re already in October! The first nine weeks wraps up on October 13th, so please be sure to check FOCUS to monitor your child’s academic progress.
Parent-Teacher Conference Night is October 22nd. If you have questions or concerns about your student’s grades, don't hesitate to reach out to their teacher to schedule an appointment. Our Jackson teachers are dedicated to every student's success—remember to check the GAP schedule to see when teachers are available for extra morning help.
Athletics Update: Fall sports are in full swing! Come out and cheer on our boys and girls basketball teams as they wrap a great season. A big thank you to our cheerleaders and step team for keeping the gym energy high at every game! Soccer season is also just around the corner—any student interested in playing must submit a completed athletic packet before tryouts.
Upcoming Events: This we will also have our fall music concerts showcasing all our musical Generals. Band will be on October 15th and Chorus/Orchestra will be on October 20th. We will also be hosting our first dance, a Sneaker Ball School Dance on October 16th. Please stay tuned to the Sunday Weekly Updates for more details as we get closer to each event.
As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your continued partnership!
Warmly,
Jennifer Shockley
Principal
